No admin or representative from Polkadot will ever message you. ANY SITE OR PERSON WHO MESSAGES YOU ABOUT POLKADOT IS A SCAM, EVEN IF THEY ARE USING A LEGITIMATE-SOUNDING NAME OR LOOK LEGITIMATE. Names/pictures/etc. are trivial to fake on Telegram.
There is no DOT giveaway. ANYBODY WHO ASKS FOR YOUR SEED OR ASKS YOU TO SEND DOT (EVEN IF SITE LOOKS LEGIT) IS A SCAMMER.
There are no other "official" Polkadot channels besides Announcements. IF SOMEONE ADDS YOU TO A CHANNEL, IT IS A SCAM.
